So, as another hobby I make chainmail. These are some 24-gauge brass rings I had laying on the counter. It's worth noting that this is extremely zoomed in - each ring's outside diameter is about as big as a pencil eraser.

Some people have nightmares about them. That japanese movie The Ring? Guess what, the little girl really wanted to make a full hauberk...turned into a fracken ghost after 10k rings. Others see them everywhere, in the soup, the wheels of a passing car, the letters on a billboard. Takes great patience to truly earn the title Lord of the rings.
